The surface is left smooth so that scrapers and brushes can be used more effectively and with less risk of damage to the belt than with a fastener joint. The belt is integrated, and the strength of the hot jointing can reach 80-90%. And it can prolong the life of conveyor accessories such as belts, rollers and idlers.
